IMPACT TO ALL RESIDENTS

Residents are urged to avoid Dorrance Lane, EAST of Kirkwood, due to the Dorrance Lane Improvement Project. (SEE MAP BELOW)

Starting the week of 8/15/22, construction crews will begin placing detour signs along entrances to Dorrance Ln., between Kirkwood and Oxford Glen. Road construction on Dorrance Ln. could start as early as Monday, 8/22.

Once this construction starts, Dorrance Ln. will be a one-way street, traveling eastbound, until the intersection with Oxford Glen. Traffic traveling in the westbound direction towards Kirkwood, on Dorrance Ln., will have to detour onto Scottsdale or Brighton once they reach the intersection of Oxford Glen.

IMPACT TO RESIDENTS LIVING IN CONSTRUCTION ZONE

Crews will start with the first 500-foot section of Dorrance Ln. as early as Monday, 8/22. Door hangers will be provided before this happens. Contractors will mark each driveway with a RED X denoting which driveways will be impacted by the first 500-foot section improvement. Keep in mind, although only 500-feet will be done at a time, the entire westbound (north side) of Dorrance Ln. will be closed to traffic. Residents not impacted by the first 500-feet will have access to their driveways until the project reaches their section of the street. Please do not block the flow of traffic on Dorrance while it is temporarily restricted to one lane.

Crews will also be relocating all mailboxes and placing them next to the mailbox across the street from each home. Trash cans will also need to be placed on the opposite side of the road.
