“Be the change you want to see in the world.”
Attention high school students! Would you like to make a difference in the community and address issues involving the youth of Meadows Place?
The Meadow Place Youth Action Council – YAC – is just that! Serve as the voice of the teens in the community, promote leadership through volunteerism and make a positive impact while having fun with other teens. YAC is a great way to earn those much needed service hours sometimes required in High School and participation can also be included on your college applications and resume. YAC is a youth run organization; YAC members create the bylaws, set the meeting schedule, plan service projects and have fun!
Applicant must:
Be a resident of Meadows Place
Be between 14 to 18 years old
Possess leadership skills (or be eager to acquire them)
Be willing to commit time & energy to the mission of YAC
Download the YAC application below or pick one up from the Parks & Recreation Department at City Hall.
