Come and spend a day at new Discovery & Nature Center. Explore the Nature Center with the many hands-on activities, see and learn about nature first hand, interact with animals of different species. This facility provides indoor and outdoor activities and seating for your convenience.   Annual membership is available. Check out the Discovery Center and see where our camps, programs, and Active Adults meet.

Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday 10 AM – 3 PM
Thursday 4 PM – 6 PM

    Children: $2 (ages 2-17) / Adults: $5
   Annual Membership: $30 Adult/$20 Kids (ages 2-17)
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Birthday Parties/Field Trips 

Celebrate your child’s birthday with family and friends at the Nature Center back patio, or schedule a private event with animal encounters. We offer 2 different package options to choose from.

Reservations must be made at least (2) wks. prior to rental and in person at City Hall, Monday – Friday / 8:30am – 4pm. Cancellation policy applies. See Nature Center Birthday Party Information sheet for details.

Accommodates up to 30 total participants (children and parents). 
Reservations available: Tuesday-Saturday: Anytime after 3:00pm up to 6pm, Sunday: Anytime before 5pm
Renter ONLY may arrive 30 minutes prior to event start for set up. 

Birthday Package: $200 Resident | $225 Non-Resident • 2-Hour Party on the Patio with Indoor Meeting Space • Participants Interact with Tortoise, Goats and Static Displays in the Outdoor Play Yard
Add-On: $100 Resident | $125 Non-Resident (Due at time of reservation) • 2 Additional Animal Encounters of Your Choice • Indoor Nature Center Discovery Zone with Hands-On Activities and Additional Animals to Explore
Rentals Include 6-Foot Table (2) / Round Tables (3) / Chairs for Indoor Seating (30) / Outdoor Picnic Tables (2) / Party Hosts (2) / Gift Table / Food Table/ Microwave / Refrigerator
Add-On Animal Encounter Selection: Rabbit, Snake, Box Turtle, Bearded Dragon, Giant Tortoise, Goats

You can reserve with the form below and visiting City Hall Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm or printed off the City website.  Make checks payable to City of Meadows Place; with payment, mail or turn into the City payments box at City Hall.
