This afternoon, crews added sand to bridges across Meadows Place to improve traction during freezing conditions. 𝐈𝐟 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠.
Our Emergency Operations Center has been partially activated, with Public Works and Meadows Place Police working there during this weather event to ensure the operation and safety of our community. Stafford Fire is also operating at an elevated readiness.
