Date and time
We will be leaving the Community Center parking lot at 8:30am. It is an hour drive, we will check in then be given tools and a select area to clean up. We will clean from 9:30-12pm. Then we will eat lunch and play at the beach until 1/1:30pm and plan to arrive back in Meadows Place around 2/2:30pm. City staff will provide transportation.
FAQ
What should they wear? T-shirt with shorts/pants and they are required to wear close toe shoes – they can wear a swimsuit under their clothes and pack a towel if they want to swim
Do they need to bring anything else? They need to bring sunscreen, a water bottle, and a towel.
Is there a cost? No charge, they simply must reserve their spot with Carolyn by Friday, 9/20.
Do I need a waiver? Yes, waiver must be filled out to attend. WAIVER HERE
What time are we leaving? You can arrive as early as 8:15am and we will leave at 8:30am. Meet at the Community Center parking lot.
Do I need to bring money? Yes, you will need to bring cash if you wish to purchase and food or snacks.
Is there a minimum amount of attendees? Yes. 5 students is the minimum and if we do not have 5 sign up we will cancel the event.
Will I make it back in time for the homecoming game? – ABSOLUTELY, we don’t want you all to miss your big game! We will be back early afternoon.
