Saturday evening, a vehicle struck a fire hydrant at W. Airport Blvd. and Kirkwood Rd. This caused some residents to notice a drop in their water pressure. Meadows Place Police responded and secured the area while Power Scoop Utilities addressed the leak. Power Scoop was able to stop the leak and water pressure returned to normal.

During Saturday evening’s thunderstorm and again Sunday morning, many residents experienced power issues. CenterPoint crews responded, identified equipment damage as the cause, and completed repairs.
