Your Mayor, Council, and some City staff attended the Texas Municipal League Annual Conference and Exhibition held in Dallas. While attending they were able to participate in learning sessions and hold discussions with their peers from other cities. Various topics were discussed at the sessions, here are a few: “City Council and Staff Ethics,” “Big Ideas for Small Cities, “Volunteer Recruitment,” and “Rising from the Rubble: The City of West.” Next year the event will be held in Houston and we are already looking forward to learning more ways we can improve our one square mile of wonderful.
