Aldi has broken ground, laid the underground plumbing, poured the foundation and is now putting up the steel. They have surveyed and are bulldozing the dirt where their driveway will enter from West Airport. According to EDC President Bob Graf, who has spoken to Aldi representative Mike Lucido, construction is still on schedule and the Meadows Place store is set to open by mid to late December of this year. Big news for a little city!
