Have you ever driven around Meadows Place and wondered how our streets got their names?
We did and we thought we’d find out about a few. We only had the chance to ask about a handful and for those answers, we reached out to Billy Burge, the original developer of Meadows Place.
Billy was excited to share some of the history behind a few of our street names.
This week, we look into the history of Pamela Sue Ct.
Pamela Sue Ct. is a street some residents may not know because it is tucked away in the newer part of our neighborhood on the south side of West Airport Blvd. This name carries deep personal meaning to Billy. It is named after his dear late wife, Pamela Sue.
Though Pamela Sue Ct. is tucked away, its name ensures her memory is not forgotten.
Over the next three weeks we’ll be sharing the history of three more street names.
Next week’s street story just might put a smirk on your face. Let’s just say, Billy would be OK if we wanted to change the name.
