Ezee Fiber Network has let the City know they will be in town doing some work in the utility easements. If you are impacted by this work, you have likely already received information in the mail.
Here is a Q&A we had with them in case you still have some questions:
📌𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬? 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞?
Our construction will last approximately 4-6 weeks beginning to end including restoration. Our footprint within the neighborhoods and the City is currently very small and the work will not take long, weather permitting.
📌𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬?
Some residents will see machinery in front of the homes and dirt being moved occasionally to dig ahead of our drill path to verify the locates that will be placed on the ground.
📌𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬’ 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲?
The only risks to resident property would be some restoration needing to be done. Ex: Sprinkler line repair, sod repair, potential water line repair. Other than those potential risks there are no other risks. We will be able to work with the water provider for assistance on making those repairs but otherwise our crews are equipped with the necessary equipment to make the repairs themselves.
📌𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐛𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚?
Our crews will be easily identifiable by their branded vests, magnets on trucks, as well as our bright orange inspector vehicles overseeing the project.
📌𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧/𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬?
