Comments like “This is so Family Friendly, we just loved it” and “We stayed for almost an hour walking around and taking Pictures” were part of the reason the Meadows Place Pumpkin Patch was such a success.  That and the the fact that on October 17th there were one thousand five-hundred pumpkins unloaded in the field next to Sugar Grove Church of Christ- and now they are GONE !  That’s right, as of noon on Halloween day, they are gone.    That means YAC will be putting some more money toward the inclusive playground they are raising money for,Meadows Place got to show off a little bit and had a lot of great visitors. Thanks to Sugar Grove church for partnering with us, supplying so much labor to unload and for volunteering to watch the patch as well.  There was a lot of fun to go along with those pumpkins. They even had ‘Star’ pumpkins! One young man was spotted running through all the pumpkins trying to break the 30 second mark. He did. He got it in 21 seconds, setting the record and showing us all that a Pumpkin Patch can be a great time for everyone – and a great fundraiser.  Way to go Meadows Place Parks and Recreation and Meadows Place YAC.
