12/07/2023 Cabo Bob’s

  • An employee and his cousin (not an employee) got in an argument at the business.
  • The cousin punched the employee in the nose, and then left the premises.
  • Investigation Status: Open

12/16/2023 Dorrance Ln. *Arrest

  • Officers responded to a family disturbance.
  • Investigation determined the juvenile son (who has a drug problem) purposely broke numerous dishes, and the parents wanted prosecution.
  • The son was taken into custody and transported to the Fort Bend Juvenile Detention Facility.
  • Damaged Property Value: $101

12/06/2023 CVS

  • A male submitted a prescription for Xanax to be filled, that employees could not confirm.
  • The subject’s story changed several times, and he immediately left when he heard the police were being called.

11/28/2023 Walgreens *Detergent (Arrest)

  • Officers were dispatched to a theft of detergent that just occurred.
  • While in route, Officer found the suspect vehicle, and followed it to a Meadows Place residence.
  • The 2 subjects inside were detained for investigation.
  • The passenger was identified by store employees through photos sent between officers. This subject may also be responsible for several other similar thefts.
  • The stolen merchandise was recovered.
  • The subject was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend County Jail.

12/11/2023 Jiffy Lube *Theft of Service

  • A subject had various services completed on his vehicle.
  • The subject was allowed to leave to get cash from his bank to pay.
  • The subject did not return. The store does have his identifying information.
  • Amount of Loss: $686
  • Investigation Status: Open

12/11/2023 Mulholland Ln. *Amazon Packages

  • A resident reported that a package (with two items) that had been delivered from Amazon were taken from her front porch.
  • No surveillance video was found in the area.
  • Amount of Loss: $1319
  • Investigation Status: Open

12/12/2023 Starbucks *Wallet

  • A customer was in the restaurant and went to the restroom leaving her purse at her table.
  • She later found her wallet was missing from the purse.
  • It is unknown currently if there is surveillance video available.
  • Amount of loss: $150
  • Investigation Status: Open

12/11/2023 Sterling McCall

  • A subject was in the process of purchasing a vehicle and was allowed to leave with it as normal practice.
  • The subject subsequently did not complete process, and the check he provided was voided by his bank.
  • A demand letter was sent by the dealer, with no response.
  • Amount of loss: $40,000
  • Investigation Status: Open

11/18/2023 SW Freeway *Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to Stop and Give Information, Resisting Arrest

  • Officer responded to an accident.
  • One of the drivers fled the scene on foot but was soon found nearby.
  • The suspect appeared to be intoxicated and detained but resisted.
  • The suspect was arrested, and transported for blood draw, and then to Fort Bend County Jail.

11/28/2023 Walgreens *Theft (also listed in Theft above)

  • Officers were dispatched to a Theft of Detergent that just occurred.

  • Officer Bruno stopped a vehicle for a headlight violation.
  • The driver was found to have a confirmed warrant for Theft out of Harris County.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail

12/06/2023 W. Airport Blvd. *Warrant Other Jurisdiction

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for a registration violation.
  • The driver was found to have a confirmed warrant for Theft out of Fort Bend County.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend County Jail

12/13/2023 Brook Meadows Ln. at Bloomington Ln. *Driving While Intoxicated

  • Officer was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle.
  • Officer found the vehicle parked partially in the intersection with the driver asleep and the keys in the ignition.
  • The driver was woken up and found to show signs of intoxication, and sobriety tests were administered and failed.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to a hospital for blood draw and then to Fort Bend Co. Jail.

12/16/2023 S. Kirkwood Rd. *Warrant Other Jurisdiction

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for a moving violation.
  • The driver was found to have a confirmed warrant out of Harris County for Assault.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend County Jail.

  • Officers responded to a family disturbance.
