06/03/2024 Pamela Sue Ct.

  • Overnight, unknown person(s) entered the resident’s vehicle as it was parked in their driveway and removed a small amount of cash. There was no sign of forced entry, and it is unknown if the vehicle had been left unlocked.
  • There was no video found in the area or other evidence found.
  • Property Value: $15
  • Investigation status: Suspended

06/03/2024 Sam’s Club

  • While a customer was in Sam’s, unknown person(s) broke out the rear passenger side window and removed a bag of coins.
  • There was no video found in the area or other evidence found.
  • Damage/Coins Value: $640
  • Investigation status: Suspended

06/04/2024 McGrath Park

  • While a citizen was at the park, unknown person(s) removed cash and cards from their vehicle. The vehicle had been left unlocked, and the items were left in plain view.
  • No evidence was found and a search for video is underway.
  • Cash Value: $100

06/10/2024 Quiet Meadow Ct.

  • A resident went to a local bank, withdrew cash, and then drove home and parked his car in his driveway, leaving a bank bag on the front passenger seat.
  • A few minutes later he went out and found the passenger side window broken and the bank bag missing.
  • No evidence was found and a search for video is underway.
  • Damage/Cash Amount: $5,500

06/14/2024 Tennis Courts

  • A citizen found that while they were at the park, unknown person(s) broke out the front passenger window and removed her fanny pack (containing cash) and children’s diapers.
  • Nothing of evidentiary value was found, and a check for video in the area was made with negative results.

06/20/2024 Amblewood Dr.

  • Two persons entered the resident’s unlocked work van that was parked in front of his home and removed numerous tools. There was no damage to the vehicle.
  • The crime was captured on the resident’s surveillance video.
  • Property Value: $9,400

06/22/2024 Meadows Place Community Center & Pool

  • While a citizen was at the pool, an unknown person(s) broke out the back passenger window and removed her purse. The purse contained cash and cards.
  • The victim since found the suspect(s) attempted to use one of her cards at a couple of Walgreens (not in Meadows Place).
  • There was no video or evidence found.
  • Property/Damage Estimate: $2,125

  • A resident found that when he returned to his apartment from an appointment that cash, medications and a pistol were missing.
  • The apartment had been locked. There was no sign of forced entry, and there was nothing of evidentiary value found.
  • *Note: The next day, he reported that the weapon had been returned.

06/17/2024 Former Vroom Parking Lot

  • A Helfman employee parked his truck in the lot in the morning.
  • When he returned during lunch, he found both driver’s side windows broken out.
  • Nothing was taken, and there was no area video or evidence.

  • A person attempted to purchase a vehicle using false identification.
  • An officer confronted him, and the person fled on foot. The person left two small children at the dealer that had been with them.
  • The children were released to a family member per CPS.

  • An unknown male walked out of the store carrying 2 saddles without paying for them.
  • There is video footage of the theft, but nothing that can identify the male, and there was nothing else of evidentiary value.

06/08/24 Walgreens  *Cigarettes and Beer

  • An unknown suspect walked out of the store carrying beer without paying for it.
  • There is video footage of the theft, but nothing that can identify the male, and there was nothing else of evidentiary value.
  • The same male committed a theft of cigarettes at the same location earlier in the morning and is included in this case #.

06/14/2024 Northern Tool *Small Engine

  • Two unknown males picked up a small engine and then exited the store without paying.
  • These two individuals have committed such thefts at this store before.
  • Video surveillance captured the incident, but not quality enough to identify the subjects.
  • The store manager did retrieve the suspect vehicle’s license plate.
  • Property Value: $299.99
  • Investigation Status: Open

06/16/2024 Northern Tool *Security System

  • A male and a female picked up merchandise and then exited the store without paying.
  • Video surveillance captured the incident, but not quality enough to identify the subjects.
  • A description of the suspect vehicle’s was obtained.

  • A male exited the store with a tool set without paying for it.
  • Surveillance video captured the Theft, and the suspect’s vehicle.

06/20/2024 Murphy Express *Water, Windshield Cleaner, Firewood

  • At or around 0345 hours the night before, a male in an SUV removed numerous items from outside the store.
  • Surveillance video captured the Theft, and the suspect’s vehicle, but the low quality yielded no usable information

05/21/2024 S. Kirkwood Rd. *Warrant Other Jurisdiction / Driving While License Invalid

  • Officer found a vehicle stopped in the median, blocking the driveway of the Stafford FD/Fort Bend EMS Station.
  • The driver was found to have a suspended DL.
  • The driver was also found to have a confirmed warrant out of Lubbock Co. for Establishing a Gambling Place.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail

05/21/2024 W. Bellfort Ave. *Possession of a Controlled Substance / Unlawful Carry of a Weapon

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for no headlights.
  • Investigation led to a PC search, which yielded a pistol and pills which tested positive for Xanax.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

05/22/2024 SW Freeway Warrant OJ

  • Officer  investigated a suspicious vehicle regarding a registered sex offender.
  • One occupant was found to have a confirmed warrant for Evading out of Harris Co.
  • The person was arrested and transported the Fort Bend Co. Jail.
