04/04/25  Meadowglen Dr. (Also listed in “Arrests”)

  • A verbal family disturbance escalated into a physical altercation in the resident’s driveway involving several family members.
  • There were only minor injuries.
  • 3 individuals were arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

Burglary of a Motor Vehicle (3) (Up 2 from previous month) (3 commercial – 0 residential)

04/11/2025 Karahi Point

  • During the hour and a half that a customer was in the restaurant, unknown persons broke out the back window of his vehicle and removed a laptop and a credit card machine.
  • There may be surveillance video, but it was not retrievable at the time. There was no witness or forensic evidence found.
  • Property Value: $3,800
  • Investigation Status: Open

04/15/25 Karahi Point

  • While a customer was in the restaurant, a sedan pulled up next to their vehicle and two persons got out and broke out a side window and removed a laptop and bag.
  • The crime was captured on surveillance video, but it is unknown at the time if it is of quality for identification. There was no witness or forensic evidence.
  • Another vehicle was broken into at this time also.

04/15/25 Karahi Point

04/11/25 Blair Meadow Dr.

  • The resident found someone had entered their home and removed jewelry and cash.
  • Possible entry was made through a side window. No forensic evidence was found.
  • Video from neighbors across the street showed a vehicle park, and a female go to the side of the house.
  • A FLOCK search yielded the possible suspect’s vehicle.
  • Property Value: $4,000
  • Investigation Status: Open

 04/03/25 Mulholland Dr.

  • Overnight, unknown persons broke out the rear passenger window of the resident’s vehicle as it was parked on the street.
  • There was nothing taken from the vehicle.
  • There was no video, witnesses or forensic evidence found.
  • Property Damage Estimate: $300
  • Investigation Status: Suspended

04/12/2025 Brighton Ln.*Shots Fired

  • A party was at the location which was getting out of hand with a fight breaking out, so the resident ended the party and had everyone leave.
  • During this, two gunshots were heard outside. There were no injuries.
  • Officers found two 9mm shell casings in the roadway, which will be tested.
  • A neighbor’s video surveillance captured a car driving by that may be the shooter, but it is of no value to confirm the shots or for identification.

04/06/25 Murphy Express *Beer

  • Two males left the store with 4 cases of beer without paying.
  • Video surveillance captured the crime but was not of quality for identification.
  • No vehicle LP was seen.

04/08/25 Walgreens *Cosmetics (Also listed in “Arrests”)

  • Employees witnessed a male placing numerous cosmetic items in his pants.
  • Officers arrived and detained the male for investigation.
  • Numerous cosmetic items were confirmed to be concealed in the male’s pants, and it was later found that the cuff of each pant leg was taped closed.
  • The male was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.
  • Property Value: $946.73

04/10/25 Alston Dr. *Tire

  • Resident placed two new recently delivered tires between her car in the driveway and the garage. When she returned an hour later, one tire was missing.
  • There was no video, witnesses or forensic evidence found.
  • Property Value: $150

045/12/25 Meadow Hollow Dr. *Painting Equipment

  • Resident has contractors doing work on their house.
  • Resident found a paint sprayer missing, and upon viewing home surveillance video, found it captured a subcontractor removing it.

04/18/25 Walgreens *US Currency

  • A resident gave a person she believed was a friend cash for a car but never delivered the car. After this the person stopped communicating with the resident.

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for a headlight violation.
  • The subject verbally identified himself, but it was later found this was fictitious.
  • Once properly identified, it was found the driver had a confirmed warrant out of Sugar Land for No Insurance.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

03/29/25 SW Freeway Feeder *Traffic (Racing) x2

  • Officer observed two vehicles driving away from a red light at a high rate of speed which appeared to be a race.
  • Officer stopped one vehicle, and another officer stopped the other.
  • Both drivers were arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

04/18/25 S. Kirkwood Rd.*Warrant Other Jurisdiction & Assault on Peace Officer

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for a registration violation.
  • The driver was found to have a confirmed warrant for Theft out of Fort Bend County.
  • Upon trying to make the arrest, the driver would not step out of the vehicle. The officer reached in to unlock the door, to which the driver began to roll up the window resulting in slight pain to the officer.
  • The driver was able to be removed but continued to physically resist, which resulted in hands-only force being used to detain her.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

04/18/25 S. Kirkwood Rd. *Warrant Other Jurisdiction

  • Officer  stopped a vehicle for a registration violation.
  • The driver was found to have confirmed warrants out of Harris County and Pearland.
  • The driver was arrested without incident and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

04/20/25 O’Reilly Auto Parts *Fail to ID & Possession of Controlled Substance

  • Officers conducted a property check and found two suspicious persons at the back of the building.
  • Upon investigation, it was found that one subject gave a false name because they thought they had warrants (unknown).
  • A search incident to arrest of the subject’s backpack found substances that later tested positive for Methamphetamine.
  • The subject was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

04/21/25 W. Airport Blvd.*Possession of Controlled Substance

  • Two officers checked by another officer on a traffic stop.
  • Voluntary consent for search was received by the driver (only occupant), and a pipe with residue was found which tested positive for Cocaine.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

Notable Information:

04/14/25 *Found/Returned Property

  • A wallet was found at Shell and was turned in at the PD.
  • Detectives used investigative tools to locate and contact the owner.
  • The owner came to the PD the next day and retrieved the wallet.
