07/16/25 Murphy Express 

  • A customer drove to the back of the business to smoke after getting gas.
  • A male approached him, asked “are you stalking me?”, and then began to hit the customer in the head with his hands/fists. The suspect then walked away.
  • Injuries were minor, and EMS was refused.
  • The victim states the same type of incident with the same suspect occurred recently at 7-Eleven in Stafford.
  • Investigation Status: Open

07/19/25 Northern Tool 

During the early morning hours, 4 persons parked in the Public Storage behind Northern Tool (NT), cut a hole in the fence, then walked to where they cut a hole in that fence, and then cut a large square hole in a metal door at the NW corner of NT.

  • Upon making entry the subjects obtained 27 items consisting of chain saws and weed eaters and left the building.
  • The crime inside the building was captured on surveillance video.
  • The subjects were all wearing dark clothes, long sleeves, gloves, and head / face coverings.
  • CID made location and began their investigation.
  • Video from Public Storage was not available at the time of the report.

07/01/25 Tennis Courts

  • Overnight, unknown persons broke the hinges on the gates to the Tennis Courts.
  • There was no witness, video or forensic evidence.

07/04/25 Walgreens *Toiletries

  • Two females took baby wipes and other unknown items and left without paying.
  • The manager took a picture of the suspects’ vehicle with LP.
  • Property Value: $50
  • Investigation Status: Open

07/04/25 Brighton Ln.  *Texas LP

  • A resident reported that his front LP was stolen while his vehicle was parked in his garage.
  • On a later date, the resident was at church talking to an officer (was working security there) who suggested he re-trace his steps since the last time he saw the LP.
  • The resident did this and found the LP at a car wash he had been in Houston.
  • Investigation Status: Closed – Unfounded

07/07/25 Walgreens *Wine & Vitamins

  • Officers were dispatched to a theft in progress, and stopped the female suspect outside the store. A search of her purse yielded two small wine boxes and vitamins.
  • The store declined prosecution.
  • The suspect was given a Criminal Trespass Warning and was then released.
  • Property Value: $23.63

07/08/25 CVS *Detergent

  • An employee witnessed a male put numerous items in a backpack.
  • The employee asked the male to put the items back, but he refused and left the store with the items.
  • Surveillance video captured the crime (but was not of quality for identification), and the suspect’s vehicle did not have a license plate.
  • Property Value: $72.61
  • Investigation Status: Suspended

07/09/25 Murphy Express *Beer

  • A male walked out of the store with 2 packs of beer, without paying.
  • A vehicle description was given with no LP, which drove away in a non-Flock direction.
  • There was no physical evidence or video surveillance.
  • Property Value: $45.23
  • Investigation Status: Suspended    

07/10/25 Walgreens *Toiletries (also in “Arrests”)

  • Officer was dispatched to a theft in progress and stopped the suspect’s vehicle in a nearby parking lot.
  • The passenger was found to have stolen items and was issued a Citation and released.
  • Property Value: $10.59

07/15/25 Northern Tool *Hand Tools (also in FLOCK)

  • 3 Males left the store with socket wrench sets without paying.
  • A description of their vehicle was given, and a FLOCK check yielded a possible suspect vehicle.
  • Property Value: $1,169.95
  • Investigation Status: Open

07/17/25 Northern Tool *Chain Saws

  • Officer was dispatched to a theft in progress, and upon arrival found a male running across the parking lot, attempting to get in a moving vehicle.
  • Officer gave foot pursuit, and the male then ran toward the freeway, where he crossed the southbound lanes.
  • Officer lost sight of the male, and an area search was unsuccessful. It was also found that the vehicle had left in a non-Flock direction.
  • Prior to this, the male and another left the store with several chain saws without paying.

07/18/25 Walgreens *Skin Care Items

  • A male left the store with a cart full of merchandise without paying.
  • An employee followed him out of the store as he placed the items in his vehicle trunk and then drove away.
  • The employee took a picture of the vehicle including the LP.
  • The crime was captured on surveillance video.

06/27/25 W. Airport Blvd. *Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon & Tampering with Evidence

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for driving without headlights.
  • During the stop, the driver appeared to be hiding something in the back seat.
  • A probable cause search was conducted, and a bottle labeled as codeine and a pistol were found.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.
  • The bottle contents will be sent to DPS for testing.

07/09/25 Dorrance Ln. *Public Intoxication & Littering

  • Officers were dispatched to a call of an intoxicated person who was yelling and honking his parked vehicle horn.
  • Officers found the person outside his parked vehicle, with no shirt on, displaying signs of intoxication, and beer was on the ground. The subject wanted to drive away.
  • The subject was arrested (Instantiated) and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

07/10/25 Walgreens *Theft (Also in “Thefts”)

  • Officer was dispatched to a theft in progress and stopped the suspect’s vehicle in a nearby parking lot.
  • The passenger was found to have stolen toiletry items and was issued a Citation and released.
  • Property Value: $10.59

07/13/25 *Warrant Other Jurisdiction & Resisting Arrest

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for a registration violation.
  • The driver was found to have a confirmed warrant out of Harris Co. for Failure to Stop and Give Information.
  • While detaining the driver, he began to resist and had to be physically restrained. No injuries occurred to either the suspect or officers.
  • The suspect was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

07/17/25 W. Airport Blvd. *Warrant Other Jurisdiction

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for an expired LP.
  • The driver was found to have a confirmed warrant out of Fort Bend Co. for Credit Card Abuse.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.
