07/04/2024 Meadow Hollow Dr. *Also listed in Criminal Mischief

  • A verbal disturbance between a dating couple escalated with a chair being thrown at one party causing slight injury. A truck mirror was also damaged during this.
  • There was no prosecution desired for the Assault.
  • Prosecution is desired for the Criminal Mischief.

  • Unknown person(s) broke out the rear window of a customer’s vehicle while they were in the restaurant and removed a backpack containing items of value.
  • Surveillance video captured the suspect’s vehicle.
  • Fingerprints were lifted.
  • Property/Damage Estimate: $2,989

  • Overnight, unknown person(s) broke out the rear driver’s side window of a truck parked at a residence and removed several tools.
  • There was no surveillance video, witness or evidence found in the area.

07/17/24 Dorrance Ln. (Criminal Episode 2 of 3)                              

  • Overnight, unknown person(s) entered a work van at a residence by damaging the passenger vent window and the rear doors.
  • The owner stated numerous tools were missing.
  • Fingerprints were lifted and the resident’s home surveillance video was retrieved.
  • Damage/Property Estimate: $3,000

  • Overnight, unknown person(s) entered a work van at a residence by breaking the passenger window and removed various tools.
  • The residence has surveillance video, but it did not capture the crime.
  • No witness or evidence was found.

  • Overnight, unknown person(s) broke out the rear passenger side window of the resident’s vehicle and damaged the ignition/steering column.
  • The vehicle had been rummaged through, but nothing was taken.
  • There was no surveillance video, witness or evidence found in the area.
  • Damage estimate: $5,500
  • Investigation Status: Suspended

  • While on patrol, an officer observed a truck in a resident’s driveway with cracked windows and open doors on the toolbox.
  • The resident was contacted and stated nothing appeared to be missing.
  • There was no witness or evidence found in the area.
  • The residence did have video surveillance, but the crime was not captured.
  • Damage Estimate: $250

  • Two unknown males attempted to enter a work van parked at a residence by breaking out the driver’s window.
  • This was witnessed by a neighbor, who startled them into leaving immediately.
  • A description of their vehicle was ascertained, but no LP.
  • No items were missing.
  • Damage Estimate: $1,500

  • While on patrol, an officer noticed the driver’s window broken on a work van parked at a residence.
  • Contact was made with the resident/owner, who said nothing was missing.

  • Overnight, unknown person(s) removed the resident’s rear LP from their vehicle as it was parked in the neighborhood earlier or in the driveway later.
  • There was no video, witness or evidence found.
  • The LP was entered into TLETS.

06/30/2024 Meadows Senior Village

  • Overnight, person(s) unknown stole the reportee’s vehicle.
  • Officer was told by another resident that at around 0650 this morning, they saw suspicious persons looking in vehicles, and they then got into this vehicle and left. MPPD was not called at that time.
  • There was no video or evidence found. The vehicle was entered into TLETS.
  • Investigation Status: Open

07/01/2024 S. Kirkwood Rd.  *Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle – Other Jurisdiction Recovery

  • Officer responded to a Flock Hit on a stolen vehicle out of Houston and found it moving.
  • While waiting for another unit, the vehicle traveled into Houston, and parked at a business.
  • The occupants exited the vehicle, and after going in the business, left the area on foot. The officer did not pursue due to no other unit arriving yet.
  • The vehicle was recovered and removed from the Flock system.

07/07/2024 W. Airport Blvd. *Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle – Other Jurisdiction Recovery

  • Officer responded to a Flock Hit on a stolen vehicle out of Alexandria, LA, and found it moving.
  • The vehicle was stopped, and the driver advised her ex-boyfriend had bought the vehicle for her, but they were now involved in a Civil Dispute over it.
  • The driver was released, and the vehicle was recovered and removed

07/14/2024 S. Kirkwood Rd. Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle – Other Jurisdiction Recovery

  • Officer responded to a Flock Hit on a stolen vehicle out of Stafford and found it moving.
  • While waiting for another unit, the vehicle traveled into Stafford, and parked at a resident.
  • Officers interviewed the driver, and found they were the registered owner, and the vehicle had been recovered that morning by Houston PD, but not removed from Flock.
  • The driver was released, and the vehicle removed from the Flock system.

07/02/2024 W. Airport Blvd.  *Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon & Possession of Marijuana (x2)

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for an LP violation.
  • Due to the smell of Marijuana, a PC Search was conducted.
  • A pistol and a usable amount of Marijuana were found.
  • Both occupants were arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

07/04/2024 W. Bellfort Ave. *Reckless Driving / Poss. of Paraphernalia

  • Officer  stopped a vehicle for driving recklessly and almost causing an accident.
  • The driver was arrested for this, and in the vehicle inventory a drug pipe was found.
  • The driver was transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail
