  • A verbal family disturbance escalated to one party scratching the other, and in return that party bit the other.
  • No serious injuries, no arrests.
  • Parties were given Victim Assistance information

01/29/24 Cedar Form Ln.  *Socks

  • A male wearing a surgical mask removed a package from the resident’s front porch, ran to a nearby vehicle and drove away.
  • This was captured on Ring camera but was not of value to identify the suspect or vehicle.
  • Property Value: $50.00
  • Investigation Status: Suspended

01/30/25 Walgreen’s *Cosmetics 

  • Upon reviewing store security video footage from the previous week, the manager saw two males take numerous cosmetics out of the store without paying.
  • The video was not of value to identify the suspects, and there was no vehicle seen.
  • Property Value: $2,747.70
  • Investigation Status: Suspended

02/09/25 Kelley’s *Wallet

  • A citizen unknowingly dropped his wallet in the restroom, but when he realized it and went to retrieve it, it was not there.
  • The next day, Kelley’s employees found the wallet in the trash. All contents were there except for cash. 
  • The citizen does not want to pursue charges.
  • Property Value: $64
  • Investigation Status: Closed – Exception

02/17/25 Meadows Senior Village *Texas License Plate

  • Overnight, an unknown person removed the resident’s front LP, while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot.
  • There was no witness, surveillance video or forensic evidence.
  • Property Value: $162.50
  • Investigation Status: Suspended

02/17/25 O’Reilly’s *Vehicle Batteries

  • A male walked out of the store with 2 vehicle Batteries without paying.
  • There was no surveillance video or forensic evidence.
  • The vehicle’s LP was obtained.
  • Property Value: $539.38
  • Investigation Status: Open

02/21/25 Northern Tool *Hand Tools

  • A male walked out of the store with a wrench set and a torque wrench.
  • A vehicle description was retrieved, but no LP.
  • Video surveillance captured the crime but was of no value for suspect identification.
  • Property Value: $717
  • Investigation Status: Suspended     

02/23/25 Northern Tool *Grease Gun

  • Officer was flagged down by employees, pointing to a male leaving the store with merchandise.
  • Upon being approached by the Officer, the subject dropped the merchandise and ran off on foot. Foot pursuit was initiated but was unsuccessful.
  • The merchandise was recovered.
  • Property Value: $269.54
  • Investigation Status: Suspended

02/11/25 S. Kirkwood Dr. *Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle / Possession of Controlled Substance

  • Officers responded to a FLOCK hit on a stolen vehicle, found it and conducted a Felony Stop.
  • Investigation showed the ex-partner of the driver was the owner.
  • The owner was contacted, who said he did want to press charges.
  • Syringes, a liquid substance (believed to be Meth – to be tested later) and a crystal “rock” (tested positive for Cocaine) was found in the vehicle.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail

02/01/25 Dairy Ashford Rd. *Driving While Intoxicated

  • Officer was flagged down about a vehicle at an intersection with the driver asleep.
  • The vehicle was found with the driver asleep with his foot on the brake.
  • After unsuccessfully trying to wake the driver, forced entry was made (no damage) and the driver was detained.
  • Clues were observed during SFST’s, and the driver volunteered to give a blood sample.
  • The driver was later arrested and transported to the Fort Bend County Jail.

02/02/25 SW Freeway Feeder*Warrant Other Jurisdiction

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation.
  • The driver was found to have a confirmed warrant out of Harris County for Reckless Driving.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend County Jail.

02/03/2025 W. Airport Blvd. *Driving While Intoxicated

  • Officer observed a vehicle sitting stationary with no lights in a moving lane of traffic.
  • The driver was safely awakened and showed signs of intoxication.
  • After observing several clues during SFST’s, the driver was detained.
  • Breath samples were received with BACs of 0.225 & 0.226, and she was booked into the Fort Bend County Jail.
  • This was the suspect’s second offense of DWI.

02/04/25 MPPD Office *Warrants Other Jurisdiction

  • A person walked into the PD lobby and advised Dispatch that he had warrants and was turning himself him.
  • Warrants confirmed were from Harris Co. for Credit Card Abuse, and from Fort Bend Co. for Assault – Family Violence.
  • The person was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

02/06/25 W. Bellfort Ave. *Warrant Other Jurisdiction

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for an LP violation.
  • The driver was found to have a confirmed warrant out of Tyler, TX for Theft.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

02/08/25 Brook Meadows Ln. *Driving While Intoxicated

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for no lights.
  • The driver showed signs of intoxication, so SFST’s were performed, numerous clues were observed.
  • Blood Draw was conducted at Oak Bend, and the driver was then transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

  • Officers responded to a FLOCK hit on a stolen vehicle, found it and conducted a Felony Stop.
  • Investigation showed the ex-partner of the driver was the owner.
  • The owner was contacted, who said he did want to press charges.
  • Syringes, a liquid substance (believed to be Meth – to be tested later) and a crystal “rock” (tested positive for Cocaine) was found in the vehicle.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

02/19/25 W. Airport Blvd. *Warrant Other Jurisdiction

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for speeding.
  • The driver was found to have 2 confirmed warrants for speeding.
  • The driver was detained and transported to a meeting location, where he was turned to a Deer Park Officer.

02/20/25 Walgreens *Possession of Controlled Substance , Resisting, Warrant Other Jurisdiction, False ID-Fugitive

  • Officers responded to a theft in progress.
  • The suspect was still on location and was detained.
  • The suspect gave a false name, but the correct identification was found through an AFIS check through Fort Bend Sheriff Office.
  • The suspect resisted being detained, which escalated to him being tased.
    • Professional Standards Log: UF 2025-01
  • A crystal substance was found in his possession, which tested positive for Methamphetamine.
  • The suspect also had a confirmed warrant for Parole Violation for PCS.
  • The suspect was arrested, transported to St. Luke’s for fit-for-jail, and then to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.
The Meadows Place Police Department is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you see anything suspicious or have any concerns, please contact the Police Department.
