Today marks an important day in the history of Meadows Place. Today, we celebrate 4 decades as a city!
On this day in 1983, what is now known as one-square-mile of wonderful and Your Place For Life, the City of Meadows Place, transitioned from a subdivision to the city of Meadows, TX. It would stay Meadows, TX until 1997 when the name was changed to Meadows Place, TX due to postal conflicts with a city of a similar name, Meadow, TX.
Thank you to everyone along the way who has volunteered their time to organizations within Meadows Place or served the City in some capacity so that it could be enjoyed today and for years to come! Without our caring community, we would not be able to celebrate 40 years.
