Our Youth Action Council built and painted new little libraries to go around our City. You’ll recall, YAC also recently collected over 250 books to supply the libraries. A big round of applause for their hard work!
After that, our Parks and Rec crew got to work installing them. We now have additional libraries at City Hall and Brighton Park.
They will also be removing two of the little libraries from McDonald park and relocating them in other areas around town.
Little libraries are a free, take-a-book-leave-a-book resource. They are not a place to take books for resale, they are a place for sharing.
