Last night at our City Council meeting, Sergeant Jerry Brownlee was presented with a proclamation from Mayor Charles Jessup making February 28, 2023, Sergeant Jerry Brownlee Day in the City of Meadows Place. Sergeant Brownlee has been with the Meadows Place Police Department for 27 years and currently serves as the Grants Administrator. Through his work in this role, he has secured $1,601,500 in grants that have benefited our department and community. One of the most recent benefits of his hard work are new ballistic shields the department just received. Thank you, Sergeant Brownlee and your family, for your commitment to our community and the badge.
