Fort Bend ISD has announced the names of the District’s 2016 Teacher of the Year (TOY) Finalists, and one of the Elementary Finalists is Ms. Robin Switzer from our very own Meadows Elementary. This is a great honor for Ms. Switzer, who has taught art at Meadows Elementary since 1980, and for the school as well.
“We are very proud of Ms. Switzer and the wonderful job she has done teaching students and representing Meadows Place,” says Mayor Charles Jessup. “I really do feel Meadows Elementary is the heartbeat of our city.”
The finalists will be honored, along with all Campus TOYs and District Rookies of the Year, at the annual FBISD Teacher of the Year banquet on April 19.
