National Night Out 2024

October 1, 2024

What:Β National Night Out is anΒ annual community-building campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live and work.

When:Β Tuesday, October 1st | 6 PM to 8 PM

Where:Β Neighbors get together and hold parties around our community. Along with the traditional outside lights and front porch vigils, Meadows Place celebrates National Night Out withΒ  citywide block parties and cookouts.

Host a Party:Β Hosting a National Night Out party is a great way to bring neighbors together and get to know your police officers and Council Representatives. To register a National Night Out party, please contact Meadows Place PD atΒ 281-983-2900Β or emailΒ police@cityofmeadowsplace.org. This will put your party on the circuit to ensure you will receive a visit from an officer, a Councilperson, or the Mayor. Hosting a party is fun – have one!

If you receive an informational flyer like the one in the picture, 𝐒𝐭 𝐒𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐜𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐒𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐒𝐧𝐠. It is intended to help you better understand why you still have a pile of debris in front of your home.

In most cases, the debris is not separated properly or cannot be removed because it is in a NO PICKUP ZONE.

Code Enforcement has only placed these on homes that have debris piles that do not meet the guidelines for removal from Fort Bend County. Those with piles who do, please continue to be patient.

The county 𝐇𝐀𝐒 ππŽπ“ started picking up construction debris yet and we do not know when they will.

Thank you for your patience throughout this process.
