Former City Council Member David Piwonka has graciously made and donated a flag to adorn Meadows Place Wall of Heroes.
David Piwonka is one the Founding Fathers of this City. David served 21 years as Meadows Place Alderman from 1985 to to 2006. He provided a depth of institutional knowledge and perspective that proved invaluable, especially in the formative years of the city. Today, David, who is the Tax Assessor for Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District, continues to serve Meadows Place as a member of the Meadows Place Planning & Zoning Commission and is a Board of Adjustment member. David began making these beautiful flags as part of a fundraiser for his church and is now making a Thin Blue Line flag for our Police Department. David is one of those people that helps make Meadows Place Your Place for Life !
