It's time for ugly Christmas sweater parties! Friday night, 12/8/23, YAC will be having an ugly sweater Christmas party at the Nature Center, 6-8 PM. If you are a High School Student, come party and enjoy games, ugly sweater contest, hot cocoa, and free pizza! Bring a friend and don't miss out!

Last night, the Mayor presented a proclamation to Meadows Elementary Principal, Mrs. Blackmer, and Meadows Elementary Teachers, Mrs. Mahand and Mrs. Bedford in honor of World Teachers’ Day. World Teachers’ Day is held annually on October 5th to celebrate all teachers around the world.
Council also voted to authorize the Mayor to execute an agreement with LEM Construction Co., Inc. for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Clarifier Rehabilitation Project in the amount of $4,275,000. The funding for this project is coming from City Funds and Fort Bend County ARPA Funds received by the City. This project is part of the City’s Capital Improvement Plan.
