Current Alderman Kurt Kopczynski was sworn in and accepted his Certificate of Election. Kurt Kopczynski will be serving our City for 2 more years. Alderman Tia Baker was also elected Mayor Pro Tem by Council. Congratulations!
Meadows Elementary has a new principal.
Earlier this month, FBISD Boards of Trustees voted to approve the hire of Cindel Blackmer as the new principal of Meadows Elementary. Last night she was invited to the the Council meeting to introduce herself to Council. Congratulations to Principal Blackmer!
There will be a Town Hall Meeting on Wed., June 7th at 6:30 PM regarding potential development of the 9-acres tract located generally at 11919 W Airport Blvd. Continue to monitor the City website and social media for more information.
The next Regular Council Meeting will be June 22nd.
