Council voted to move forward with repair of our nearly 50-year-old wastewater treatment plant. The design of the project is complete and now the City will be working with HDR Engineering to gather bids on the project. We are able to move forward with this project using funds from the American Rescue Plan Act. Thanks to help from Fort Bend County, the City was able to obtain $1.5 million in County ARPA money that will be used directly on this project.
The City is working to ensure residents do not lose service while the repairs are being completed.
