In preparation for our City Election, scheduled May 4, 2024, Council voted to enter into an agreement with Fort Bend County to hold a “Joint Election.” Essentially, the City of Meadows Place does not have voting equipment, materials, or personnel to hold an election on our own. Through this agreement with Fort Bend County, we will share the use of their voting equipment, materials, and personnel. Council must vote on this item because it has an associated cost, approximately $6,778.
