Happy Audrey St. Germain Day!

Last night, the Mayor and Council  delivered a proclamation honoring Meadows Elementary Teacher of the Year, Audrey St. Germain. December 20th, 2023 was proclaimed Audrey St. Germain Day. Mrs. St. Germain currently teaches Pre-K. Mrs. St. Germain had students and her family on hand to watch her receive her proclamation. (See Pictures Below)

Council also voted to move forward with the $10 Utility Infrastructure Fee, it will appear on the utility bill due in February 2024.
Back in August, a public hearing was held regarding the possibility of a new Utility Infrastructure Fee. After hearing from the public, Council decided that a $10 fee would be added to the utility bill. (CLICK HERE TO VIEW PUBLIC HEARING).
This fee will operate like the Road Use Fee, however, the revenue generated from this fee will go directly into a fund that can only be used for water and wastewater infrastructure needs. As we all know, the City faces issues with an old infrastructure daily. These fees are designed to accelerate the replacement of aging water/sewer infrastructure in our city.
