Thanks to those that attended the Council meetings last night. Most of the items on the Council meeting agenda involved accounting items. When money is received from an outside source, those funds must be allocated to a line item within the City budget. This cannot be done without the approval of Council. Last night funds were moved for several things including money received from the Fort Bend County Parks Bond. That money was used to replace the field house roof, to purchase and install the new floating wildlife viewing area/observation deck and will be used for the tennis courts improvements coming in May. All the funds were approved and moved to their proper place within the budget.
Our next Regular Council Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 23rd. We hope to see you there.
