02/16/26 Karahi Point

  • A vehicle pulled up next to the victim’s vehicle in the parking lot, and a person got out and broke out a side window and removed a bag.
  • The bag contained cigarettes and tobacco products that the victim had just purchased from Costco, valued at $1,311.63.
  • The incident was captured on surveillance video with vehicle and suspect descriptions, but no information for identification.
  • Investigation Status: Open

02/12/26 S. Kirkwood Rd. 

  • A verbal family disturbance escalated to an adult member being asked to leave the residence.
  • In doing so, the member broke a small window next to the back door.
  • Damage Estimate: $2,000
  • Investigation Status: Open

02/04/26 Dorrance Ln. [also in Arrests]

  • While conducting a property check at Cabo Bob’s, an Officer was flagged down by an employee who said he was approached while he was walking on Dorrance by a U-Haul van, driven by a female with a male passenger. The male passenger asked the employee if he “needed a ride to school”. The employee said no and walked off, believing the male thought he was a child and was trying to solicit him.  The U-Haul drove away on Dorrance.
  • The Officer found the vehicle in the neighborhood nearby and saw the passenger get out, and the U-Haul then drove away. She approached the male, who disregarded commands and ran away on foot into the neighborhood.
  • While searching for the male, the Officer soon found the U-Haul parked in front of a residence on Dorrance. She approached and contacted the driver, who was soon found to have two confirmed warrants out of West University.  The female was then detained.
  • A search of the van uncovered numerous pieces of mail, credit cards, driver’s licenses, and a substance that was identified as Methamphetamine.
  • During this, another Officer, along with Stafford PD, Sugar Land PD’s Drone Unit, and the Fort Bend Co. Sheriff’s helicopter (Raven) searched for the male. With all this assistance, the Officer soon contacted the male and took him into custody.
  • The male complained of chest pain, so Fort Bend EMS checked him and them released him.
  • Both the female and male where transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail on the following charges:
    • Possession of Controlled Substance
    • Fraud – Possession of Credit or Debit Card
    • Fraud – Use or Possession of Identifying Info
    • Theft – Mail
    • *The male was charged with Evading Arrest w/Prior Conviction (Enhancement)
    • *The Warrants Other Jurisdiction were also included for the Female

02/19/26 Dorrance Ln. *Discharge Firearm

  • Units responded to the report of shots fired in the area.
  • A witness saw the driver of a vehicle fire shots toward the sky but could not give a description of the vehicle or the driver.
  • Two pistol caliber shell casings were found in the street.
  • A check of the homes, vehicles and property in the area showed no damage.
  • A check for area door cameras and the FLOCK system will be conducted by CID.
  • Investigation Status: Open

02/04/26 S. Kirkwood Rd. *Warrant Other Jurisdiction

  • A male flagged down Officer to turn himself in for having a warrant out for him.
  • A computer check showed the person to have confirmed warrant out of Baker Co. for Failure to Appear.
  • The male was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

02/06/26 W. Airport Blvd. *Tamper with Government Record

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for a defective headlight.
  • Investigation showed that the registration sticker on the vehicle had been changed and therefore was fictitious.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

02/13/26 W. Bellfort Ave. *Warrant Other Jurisdiction

  • Officer was dispatched to a theft at CVS.
  • Upon arrival, the suspect was detained for investigation.
  • No theft was found to have occurred, but the suspect was found to have a confirmed warrant out of Brazoria Co. for Theft.
  • The suspect was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

02/13/26 W. Airport Blvd. *Fail to ID – Fugitive

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for disregarding a traffic control device.
  • The driver provided a Driver’s License, but through investigation it was found this was fictitious.
  • The driver was soon positively identified and found to have unconfirmed warrants out of Sugar Land PD.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

02/15/26 S. Kirkwood Rd. *Driving While Intoxicated & Fleeing Police Officer

  • Officers responded to report of a reckless driver, possibly intoxicated, northbound on S. Kirkwood toward W. Bellfort.
  • Officer found the vehicle driving on S. Kirkwood with a flat tire and front-end damage.
  • Officer activated his emergency equipment, but the vehicle continued driving at a normal rate.
  • The vehicle came to a stop a short time later in Houston, and the driver was detained without incident.
  • The driver appeared to be so intoxicated and unstable that it was not safe to conduct SFST’s.
  • The driver was transported to Oak Bend in Richmond for blood drawing, and then to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.
