On Tuesday, October 28, 2014, The City of Meadows Place welcomed Deputy State Fire Marshall Jesse Williams and Insurance Services Office (ISO) Manager Phillip Bradley to the Council Meeting to award a rare distinction on the City of Meadows Place and their fire department – a Class 1 ISO rating. It is a distinction that has been achieved by less than 90 communities nationwide, and translates to lower fire insurance rates for Meadows Place residents and business owners. One of only two cities in Fort Bend County, and one of 23 in the whole State of Texas to achieve a Class 1 rating illustrates Meadows Place commitment to provide the very best in safety and security to The City of Meadows Place. The awards are on display at City Hall.
