Thankfully, it has dried out enough for crews to start maintenance on Helfman Playground for All.
Due to weather, the playground closure will extend beyond May 1. The area will stay closed off until maintenance is complete.
Cost for the maintenance and repairs is $30,000 and is being funded by the Economic Development Corporation (EDC).
These repairs do not include the nearby turf hill area. Maintenance on that area will be a part of a separate project at a later date.
