Assault (3) (Up 2 from previous month)                  

11/30/25 Pamela Sue Ct.

  • A verbal disturbance between next-door neighbors escalated into one party shooting the other with a handgun.
  • Upon arrival, MPPD Officers performed trauma treatment measures until EMS arrived.
  • The victim was Life Flighted but was pronounced dead at the hospital.
  • The suspect was arrested at the scene.
  • MPPD was aided by personnel from the Fort Bend Co. Sheriff’s Office and the Fort Bend Co. District Attorney’s Office.
  • A Search Warrant was obtained for the suspect’s home, and the handgun was then seized.
  • The suspect was transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.
  • Investigation Status: Closed by Arrest (CID working with DA on preparing Murder-Felony 1 Case) All Other Information is Confidential as we are still working on the case.

12/05/25 McGrath Park

  • During the Christmas Memories event, several 11–13-year-old girls who know each other got in an altercation which escalated to an assault.
  • There were minor injuries to one child, who was then taken to an urgent care by their parents. Injuries were scrapes and scratches.
  • Investigation Status: Open

12/08/25 Discount Tire

  • A customer accused an employee of almost “running over him” and then began to fight him.
  • The fight was broken up by others.
  • The employee received 5 stitches to a finger at an urgent care.
  • The employee does not want to prosecute.
  • Investigation Status: Closed – Exception

12/07/25 Amblewood Dr.

  • Overnight, persons unknown broke out a window on the resident’s pick-up truck that was parked on the street and removed power tools.
  • There was no surveillance video, forensic evidence or witness found.
  • Property Value: $4,000

12/01/25 Bollero Ct.

  • A resident came into MPPD and reported she found several charges on her bank card that were not hers.
  • She reported this to her bank who then deactivated the card.
  • Fraud Amount: $1,373
  • Investigation Status: Suspended

12/04/25 Helfman Ford

  • Two days prior a vehicle was sold to a person, and the next day the dealership found that the buyer had given fraudulent information regarding employment and their social security number.
  • Attempts were made by the dealer to contact the buyer but were unsuccessful.
  • Fraud Amount: $31,237
  • Investigation Status: Open

12/05/25 Sterling McCall (Also listed in Arrests)

  • Officers responded to a Fraud in-progress call.
  • Upon arrival they found that a person who purchased a vehicle a week prior and came in today to purchase another.
  • Today, the buyer came back with a fraud alert.
  • Officers approached the buyer who began walking away, ignored commands to stop, and then began running through the parking lot but soon slipped and fell, and was then taken into custody.
  • Numerous identifications and debit/credit cards in different names were found on his person.
  • He was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail, where it was found after an AFIS check that the suspect had given officers a false name.

12/08/25 Dorrance Ln.

  • A residence reported that this summer she was contacted by an unknown male who convinced her to start purchasing cryptocurrency and depositing into a crypto wallet.
  • She found she that was not able to make withdrawals from this wallet.
  • The transfers occurred from June through December of 2025.
  • The resident was issued an MPPD case number and advised to contact IC3.
  • Fraud Amount: $244,900
  • Investigation Status: Suspended

  • The manager reported that an employee walked out on Thanksgiving Day with the restaurant’s tip money.
  • Management made several attempts to contact the now ex-employee but were unsuccessful.
  • Amount: $192
  • Investigation Status: Open

12/05/25 Northern Tool

  • A male walked in the store and attempted to steal an electric bike, but found it had a lock on it. The male then picked up a heater and left the store with it without paying.
  • Video surveillance captured the incident. There was no forensic evidence, but witnesses say they can identify him as he has come in the store before.
  • Property Value: $99.99
  • Investigation Status: Open

11/18/25 Scottsdale Dr.

  • A customer parked in the rear lot, and when they returned their vehicle was missing.
  • Surveillance video captured a vehicle park next to it, a male entered it, and then both vehicles drove away.
  • The video was not of evidentiary value for ID of the suspect or vehicle.
  • Vehicle Value: $47,000
  • Investigation Status: Suspended

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for expired registration (after Flock Hit).
  • The driver was found to have confirmed a warrant out of Fort Bend Co. for Harassment, and another out of Harris Co. for Assault-FV.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail

11/30/25 W. Airport Blvd.

  • Officer responded to a FLOCK hit on a stolen license plate (LP).
  • He located the vehicle and stopped it.
  • It was found that when the driver bought the vehicle, the LP was on it.
  • The LP was confirmed stolen through HPD and was confiscated.
  • The driver was released with no charges for this.

11/30/25 Dorrance Ln.*Evading & Endangering Child (x2)

  • Officer attempted to stop a vehicle for violations of window tint and registration.
  • The vehicle did not stop and began driving evasively on Dairy Ashford into Houston. Officer Richmond gave pursuit until the vehicle came to a stop in an apartment complex in the 12700 block of Bellaire.
  • The driver was taken into custody without incident.
  • Two children under the age of 10 were found unrestrained in the back seat and were later released to their father.
  • The driver (children’s mother) stated she had a warrant out of Sugar Land for Speeding, but this was not confirmed.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

11/30/25 SW Freeway *Possession of Controlled Substance & Warrant Other Jurisdiction

  • Officer stopped a vehicle for a turn violation.
  • The driver was found to have a confirmed warrant out of Fort Bend Co. for Driving While Intoxicated.
  • A prescription bottle containing pills that found to be Amphetamines prescribed to a person not in the vehicle was discovered in the vehicle.
  • The driver was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.

  • MPPD’s Arrest led to HPD solving approx. 21 cases involving the same person

12/07/25 SW Freeway *Public Intoxication

  • While on patrol, Officer found an occupied vehicle, not running, parked on the curb at the closed business.
  • A male was found in the vehicle asleep, with several alcoholic beverages around him.
  • Upon being awakening, the male mumbled and attempted to start the vehicle.
  • The male had an odor of alcohol about his person. He spoke only Spanish, so Stafford PD checked by to translate.
  • After investigation, the male was arrested and transported to the Fort Bend Co. Jail.
