Big congratulations to our Parks and Recreation Coordinator, Carolyn Whitlow, on completing her initial training with the Texas Master Naturalist Coastal Prairie Chapter! Over 11 weeks, Carolyn dove into topics like geology, botany, and urban ecosystems, with hands-on field trips to Brazos Bend State Park, Seabourne Creek Nature Park, and more. This new expertise will enhance programs at our Discovery & Nature Center and bring fresh, outdoor learning opportunities to Meadows Place, inspiring families to explore and connect with nature.
