The 84th Texas Legislature passed HB 1378 to increase the transparency of local government debt, effective for fiscal years ending after January 1, 2016. The following information is presented in compliance with Local Government Code § 140.008 for fiscal year ended September 30, 2023. This information must be updated annually within 180 days of the most recent fiscal year.
The following chart shows the City’s Bond Debt for the fiscal year end 2022-2023 and previous 10 years. The City paid off it’s 2010 Bond debt during the 2019-2020 fiscal year. It has no current Bond debt.
