4th of July Parade

Meadows Place Annual 4th of July Parade

Make your plans now to be a part of the best hometown parade around.  The Honorable Charles Jessup along with City Council Members and their families will be a special part of the annual parade.  The City of Meadows Place annual 4th of July Parade will be on Thursday, July 4th, 2019 at 9:00 am.

The Parks & Recreation Department will present awards for the Best Youth, Spirit & Commercial parade entries (individual or groups) at McGrath Park at the conclusion of the Parade.  Get your neighbors together and plan your entry.  Size is not important; simplicity, originality, creativity and community spirit will be judged.  The judge’s table will be at the Community Center to view all entries as they pass.  All entries will be categorized and judged accordingly.  Call the Parks & Recreation Department for an entry form or download one below.  Please return your entry form as early as possible to help things run smoothly.

Judging of the non-motorized entries, according to age groups, will take place at 8:00 a.m. SHARP!   Awards will be given in each age category.  Non-motorized entries do not need to fill out an entry form; all you need to do is show up for the judging!

The Parade will assemble in front of City Hall in the Sugar Grover Church of Christ east parking lot and then travel down Dorrance to Mulholland, left on Mulholland and left on Brighton to McGrath Park where awards will be announced.
