 Another very proud moment for

Meadows Place

Meadows Place has just become the first city in Fort Bend County to fully convert to two way radio read “smart” water meters - or AMR, which stands for Automatic Meter Reading.   It was not our intention to be the first, but the best, and our new metering does that as it provides many advantages for our residents.   Some of the advantages include increased data security, more timely billing and reduced meter reading costs.  The new Badger AMR meters are extremely accurate and reads are based on actual consumption, they are never “estimated”.  Public Works Director Dan McGraw also points out the reports generated by the AMR system will lead to increased customer service. Another big move by the little city of Meadows Place.
