
Christmas tree recycling started December 26th and ran through January 7th. Public Works wants to thank those resdients who droped their tree off to be recycled and hopes you will do the same next year and tell a neighbor.

Save our Beach Association (SOBA) and Brazoria Parks department called upon city Parks and Public Works in the region and asked these government orginizations to donate there recycled tree donations.

Meadows Place donated a trailer load of trees for the cause.

Over eleven thousand trees were donated in all.

Director of Public Works Dan McGraw and Joe French from Public Works donated there time to help deliver, unload and tie down trees behind the dunes.

Mayor Bedward fo the Village of Surf Side and Meadows Place Public Works Director Dan McGraw. The mayor assisted in all the phtsical activities of placing trees bihind the dunes.
