- Get to know you neighbors.
- Keep you car doors locked at all times.
- Don't leave valuables in your car.
- Keep you garage doors closed whenever you are not outside or working in your garage.
- Use timers for lights when you are out of town.
- Arrange for a friend or neighbor to pick up your mail and newspapers when you are out of town.
